The B&B Media Group, Inc. is headed in a new direction with a sharper focus and… a new name. The public relations and publicity firm has been serving publishing houses, non-profit organizations, companies, authors, speakers and ministries for 27 years. It will continue to build upon that legacy as The Barnabas Agency. Handling numerous book launch publicity campaigns has been the backbone of the business since its inception in 1987 by President and CEO Tina Jacobson. However, a transition has been occurring since 2002 and has accelerated in recent years resulting in a new focus that is centered on the true heart and vision of the organization – a genuine desire to come alongside ministries, organizations and individuals that need assistance and guidance with their overall public platform, strategy, branding and communications needs.
“We have witnessed unprecedented change within the industry in the last decade. Technology has affected the manner, the frequency and the speed in which messages are delivered. Navigating the media landscape, while more accessible to everyone, has become more challenging as a result. We are responding to the increasing demand of those looking for help in addressing these challenges with a more targeted focus that maximizes the knowledge we have gained over the past 27 years,” states Jacobson.
The Barnabas Agency was established in 2002 as an arm of The B&B Media Group and has been helping clients with their public relations, publicity and communication needs since that time. Finalizing the transition, the organization will be doing business under its new name effective immediately. As a result, it will concentrate and specialize in providing strategic guidance and management of all phases of an organization’s or individual’s messaging, branding and overall public relations communications.
The current team is comprised of like-minded individuals who have an in-depth understanding of the religious marketplace and can develop, manage and communicate a vision to a wide audience in both the general and religious markets, nationally and internationally. The team consists of Tina Jacobson, President/CEO, Rick Roberson Vice President/COO and Diane Morrow, Vice President of Public Relations. These three serve as the principal consultants for the company and bring a combined total of almost 100 years of experience to the client. Amy Morrow serves in a support capacity and manages the agency’s social media channels.
The inherent complexities of today’s media market require a greater reliance upon the experience that can only be offered and delivered by skilled public relations and communication agencies. The Barnabas Agency is one of those agencies and has set itself apart by producing the desired results for its clients for over a quarter of a century.
“The Barnabas Agency has provided great leadership in our efforts to communicate our vision to cities around the world. They are considered by many to be the best at what they do, and there’s nothing that I have seen to indicate otherwise. The team is hard working, disciplined, and effective. We couldn’t be more pleased and are looking forward to working with them for years to come.”
