Summer Salutations

Summer Salutations from Michael K. Reynolds

78Spring is my favorite time of the year. But that’s only because it emerges from the cold of winter with the hopeful expectation of summer.

And speaking of hopeful expectations there is much to share with you including an exclusive Author Insider peak at the new book cover forSongs of the Shenandoah, the concluding novel in the Heirs of Ireland Series. (No fair scrolling down).

But first, let’s talk about the next novel in the series! This summer is heating up for the Reynolds family as it’s just about time for the release of In Golden Splendor, the second book in the Heirs of Ireland Series.

summer skyNot only are we excited about the book release, but also that I’ll be able to enjoy summer this year. I spent most of June, July and August of last year cooped up in my writer’s den, composing In Golden Splendoron on deadline while the sun’s rays taunted through the blinds of my window.

So I’ll be lathering on the sunscreen (it’s an Irish thing) and joining the rest of the world in having some fun in the sun.
Summer SunBut that doesn’t mean I won’t be busy as we’ll be working hard to promote In Golden Splendor. This novel answers the most-oft asked question ofFlight of the Earls readers: “Whatever happens to Seamus?”

How does the second novel differ from the first? For one, the romance triggers from the very first chapter. And it covers one of the most pivotal times in US History; the birth of the American Dream and the San Francisco Gold Rush.

‘In Golden Splendor’ is the second book in Michael K. Reynolds’ fantastic Heirs of Ireland Series. Historical novels used to be one of my favorite genres and I was an avid reader so I read a lot of them.  ‘In Golden Splendor’ is the best I’ve read. A distinction it took away from ‘Flight of the Earls’.
