Day 22: getting off the B U S

The B&B Team continues to hear from friends in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and the West Bank. In the middle of the loss and chaos, they are healthy, safe, and thankful to be so.

Yesterday we heard from a friend in Tel Aviv who was riding bus 142 in the morning and got off before the bomb went off around noon. I’m thankful when schedules change and circumstances, sometimes inconvenient at the time, divert us from danger. In the end, we are thankful and see how we are just where we were needed. We are praying for those who were on the bus when it exploded, for their families, their quick recovery, strong spirit, and courage.

We pray for and end to this cycle of violence somehow, somewhere in sight, and are thankful to have endured another day. May we not just endure but persevere, not just survive but thrive.
